Amazon Kindle for Windows Phone 7 is now available for download from the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. Although it does not appear to be available yet via Marketplace Search, you can find it by browsing to applications -> all and then selecting the new category. It will be near the top. To download via the Zune desktop software, click here.

Visual Basic Support Now Available for Windows Phone 7 Development

The Windows Phone 7 Development Team announced today the immediate availability of the RTW (Release To Web) version of the Visual Basic for the Windows Phone Developer Tools. For the initial release, this version requires Visual Studio 2010 Professional and only supports Silverlight projects.

AT&T and T-Mobile are both offering buy one, get one free offers on Windows Phone 7 devices starting this Friday.

AT&T is making the offer available on all three devices it carries, the Samsung Focus, HTC Surround and LG Quantum. Starting Friday, you can purchase two Windows Phone 7 devices for $199 and new 2-year contracts on both devices. On top of a great price, this offer also allows you to mix and match devices.

T-Mobile is also offering a buy one, get one free incentive on the HTC HD7. This offer also begins on Friday and requires new 2-year contracts on the devices.
