You just made my day!! My phone had to be replaced because it wouldn't it was sufferring USB errors whenever I tried to connect it to any pc, and we thought the 32gb microSD was bricked. I was going to start looking for a Symbian OS phone to get it formatted, but I happened upon your post up there and decided to give it a try. Thank you very much :D

Yeah, I figured that the screen rotation was a Windows 7 thing but it could very well be a combination of things. In general I love the EEE Slate. There are just a few things that I wish were better. :)

Concerning the screen rotation, next time your on your windows 7 pc plug in an external display. Does that pause in the screen look familiar? Its windows seven, not the asus.

Also a side note I am currently posting this from my own Asus eee slate and would recommend this over any other windows tablet. I use this for note taking in over 5 hours of straight classes and never have had a battery life problem. And the acceptable hardware specs allow me to easily run old classics like age of mythology, diablo 2, and heroes 5 with no cd patches. (ok, so the battery life isn't amazing when playing said games) but its a better option than my alienware m17x i used to lug around.

And as far as windows 7 on a tablet, I am assuming windows 8 will be more tablet friendly, so thats something to look forward to when having the "most powerful tablet".

I'm working hard on it. :) It's a pretty complex app, so it's taking me some time. I was hoping to have it out by the end of the month, but I'm not sure I'll hit that. Some features I planned for the first version will likely get pushed back to a subsequent update, but the first version will be extremely usable still. :)

Unfortunately, I had to replace the hardware because I had a defective phone. Because the MicroSD is locked to the phone I wasn't able to use it in my new Focus. Have to find someone to unlock and erase the MicroSD card for me. :)
